How  does it work ?

The damaged video cassette is striped down and inspected, broken or worn out parts are replaced or the video tape is removed and placed into a new cassette housing with a new set of mechanical parts i.e. guide rollers, reel brakes,   etc. If the video has been snapped or screwed up, the tape will be temporarily sliced and a standard video to DVD transfer is carried out. When the DVD has been made it is sent out to you by 1st Class recorded delivery.  When we received confirmation that the DVD has arrived safely and all is OK we will return the video tape, if the tape has been spliced we recommend that it is not  played in a domestic video player or camcorder as this may damage the machine (the tape will be labelled with a warning as appropriate).

How much does it cost ?

VHS or Camcorder tape rescue service and transferring 1.5 hours ( 90 mins) of retrieved  video to DVD £22
 

For longer VHS tapes a 2nd or 3rd DVD disc  may be required i.e. 
Transferring 3 hours  ( 180 mins) of rescued  video to a double DVD set £32
Transferring 4.5 hours (270 mins)  of rescued  video to a tipple DVD set £42
